I'm slowly working on installing one myself. So far it has been slow going. It is unfortunately not a simple plug and play item.

 

Any idea what extra is needed? I see this on ebay:

Would that make the install easier for me? what else will I be needing ?

 

That should be helpful. I don't have a lot of time to deficit to the project but the roadblock I am currently at is finding the best way to get the wires up into the hatch.

 

Have you had a look at the DIY section of this forum? There is a post and it is an install of an OEM camera. It includes pics and downloadable instructions.

 

Yes, but I am looking at the OEM Camera that is in the tailgate latch. I much prefer that one.
