Okay guys, ive lend my hand out quite a bit so far to this forum, lets see if i get some return =P

If anyone can do some PSing, it would be greatly appreciated =P

Wheel choices! i curretly have enkei evo5's in bronze but think i will avoid putting them on the veloster as i feel its time for new wheels.

so here are the specs. Boston red style package. so red/black/CF is already the theme. im between bronze, black/red stripe, gunmetal wheels... here are some ideas.

I feel like the veloster has a busy look, so i feel the wheels should be rather busy (in design). my previous car had a more traditional 5 spoke wheel.

Pick wheel and color, opinions welcome (just dont be harsh)

TSW trackstar 5:

On my IS300 (17x8 +40). The springs weren't settled yet after I set it down. There is barely a finger gap after they settle.

I like these, depends on how the red ring on the rim matches up with your cars pain in person, though. Here's a quick chop(no claims of Photoshop greatness here!)

The Trackstar 5's aren't. The 17" are 17 lbs each and the 18" are 20 lbs each. That's pretty light for that size rim without spending too buku dollars. Heck, the 18" weighs less than most stock 17" (the stock 17's on my IS weigh 23 lbs each).

I'm not a fan of all black wheels, they are too difficult to distinguish from the tire. The black with red line is better, but it still wouldn't be my first choice. I'm a big fan of bronze, especially on a red or white car.

As far as the design, the split spoke designs look best to me, especially the first two. Hyundai chose a split 5-spoke and a semi-solid 5-spoke design as stock. I think it's cleaner that way. I think the "busy design" of the car is more prominent from the front or the back, the sides seem pretty smooth. Of the other designs, I like the CE28 replicas, especially in that color.

Im at such a loss, white looks the best, but its unrealistic to maintain, silver looks awesome but my car is all black/red and im removing any chrome..

and weight of the wheels is an issue, i would like to keep it atleast the same weight as stock if not lighter...

does anyone know the weight of a style 18?

The V is busy.. busy wheels would look great. Web-like design.. and a Thick 5 spoke would look nice.
