Glad to see you figured out the Torque app with the advanced Hyundai plug in.
The Advanced EX should be on your dial when you sync.
Make sure you go into it and pull up/set all the advanced PIDs that are congruant to your VT.
It will allow you to check Veloster TGDI 1.6L

Souns like the other day when you had "no power", you must have been:
1. In some kind of limp mode from overboost or whatever.(This can occur with no cel light)
2. Possibly not warm enough for the engine safeties to allow boost.
3. I'd dare say its NOT your fuel line. If it was you would be able to re-create it at will.

1. not sure it would of overboost, been under 3k the whole time tell I noticed the issue..
2. car was fully warm, my drive is about an hour...
3. yeah, not thinking it's that either, since it's a '15 and I was well under 4k rpm anyway

Korndawg, was it raining the day you had no power or had it rained recently and the roads were wet?
it's been kinda rainy all week, but no, it wasn't raining at the time, and road were dry...

Well, the issues still hasn't returned... car running normal... but yesterday when I got home I had to re-setup my torque app since I got a new phone last week... well guess what, just for S&G I ran the scan for codes... well it had a code... P1111 (powertrain) looks like it picked it up twice... I'm thinking it was there from when I had that issue driving into work... I guess I never checked that... anyway I cleared it.. and will check in a few and make sure that don't come up again....

That has to do with your upstream O2 sensor not heating up like it's supposed to. It has to reach a certain temperature before it can accurately read your AFR.

hmmm, well I keep scanning it the next few days/weeks when I get home and see if it shows up again...

All the problem could possibly be caused by the interface unit you are employing. It is possible.

I am having same issue intermittently. Car just lose power for no reason, but OK after a restart. Doesn't having often though, may be 5 times within the past year since I got the car.
I will ask the dealer to take a look at the next oil change. See if they can find anything.

I just had something similar to the same issue my car sat for a few weeks because I was working out of town I came back home start of the car and went to go for a drive and it was like I had no boost would not go over 4,000 RPMs and it was like I had no boost at all girl the car back home let her own idol for a few minutes revved it up in lower RPMs and I had no boost at all so I got irritated with it and it started pinging it off the rev limiter and then all of a sudden my boost came back but the turbo made a whining sound so I'm assuming for this sitting for so long maybe the turbo was stuck but eventually I drove around a little bit and now it's freed up and no noises, sounds like you're having the same issue I was having
