Style
Style+Tech

Base. This car is for my daily driver and fewer toys, fewer problems. Even though there were a few things in the tech package I wanted, but had to buy the style to get tech in the end they were not worth $4K to me.

Style+Tech in 26.2 Yellow. I loved the look of the yellow inserts on the wheels, really added to the look of the whole car. I also wanted to have navigation, backup parking camera, and the proximity key. All of these features (including those in the style package) at this price was perfect for me.

Style MT

Didnt really want to spend the $2000 for wheels I would replace anyways, prox key isnt that big of deal for me and I use nav on my phone. Backup camera is only thing I miss not having.

I got style and tech...because this was the first time I bought a new car and I wanted it to be spectacular. haha. My two previous used cars ( a 2000 Saturn and a 1993 Plymouth Sundance...haha) were base models with NOTHING. When I say nothing, I mean...not even a tape deck or a cd player.

I saved up money and I wanted to treat myself to a car that had all the things I coveted in a car :) Thanks to Hyundai...I got everything except heated seats, lol.

Got the base because I didn't want the sunroof and I liked the 17" wheels. I actually prefer the matte black trim on the exterior as well because I think it is going to wear better and matches the finish on the "hidden" door pull. For whatever reason, the base also felt like it had a little livelier acceleration than the style/tech package I test drove. If the base had the upgraded interior like the leather wrapped steering wheel and shifter, plus the softer armrests, it would be perfect for me. I was really looking to spend the least amount of money on a good economical commuter when shopping and thought the Veloster had the most bang for the buck in that regard. I do think the style package for some people is a pretty good deal because it gives you a lot of extras for the money (upgraded interior/exterior, leather wrapped steering wheel and shifter, 18" rims that I think look better than the tech rims, sunroof, upgraded stereo etc...) I don't think the tech package is worth the additional 2k over the style package. That said, If I was going to shell out an extra 4 grand for the options of the style/tech over the base, I would wait for the turbo and do it right.

I bought the style+ tech because I wanted just about everything both packages offered- moonroof, piano black and chrome trim, red/black leatherette seats, red-trimmed rims, proximity key and pushbutton start, rear-view camera.
The only thing I didn't care that much about was the nav, but it's a good one, and I'll definitely use it now that I have one.

i got the base to save money... didnt want 18 inch wheels, the sunroof, or push button start. but i would've like to have the fog lights...

Tech .... if the style package had been available in Canada, I would have taken, I prefer the wheels of it. I opted for the tech because I like interior finish, start button, sunroof, camera, nav, key ... just package

bought the style w/dct.
Just though that I wanted more than the base offered and didn't like the tech because I wouldn't use the extra's that comes with it.

Tech - like others in Canada, only choice between the base or tech. But, I think you get a lot for $3,500 CAD. You get 18inch wheels with the coloured rims, upgraded stereo, nav, sunroof (i think the total glass look on the roof really stands out - one of my favorite exterior features of the car). upgraded seats/leatherette, leather wrapped armrest/steering wheel/shifter
