Checking with Torque, both throttle pedal position sensors max out at 80% with the throttle floored. If I literally stand on the pedal and mush it into the floor, I can get it to 84%, which is the red indicator on the dials in the photo. The dial reading of 80% is max throttle with a reasonable amount of pressure on the pedal. Normal? Any way to adjust? I verified this both driving under many different conditions and sitting still with motor off.

I was also monitoring the actual throttle body position, never saw that get near 100% under any conditions either. I'll post up those dials next time I go out.

I'm asking because even with the cat back and half of a CAI, my 0-60 is still consistently over 7 seconds, like 7.2 to 7.4. I also run only 92+ octane, and even though I dont have a tune I'm under the impression that the ECU will get a little more brave with timing on premium fuel especially on a fresh re-learn after a reset, if it is not seeing knock.

I think a dude on the other forum was able to open it to capacity but it was done by releasing the safety protocols on the ecu/ecm. I wouldn't advise tho... more stress on the already wimpy 1.6, unless ur engine is heavily modified.

We can take out that little black thing behind the pedal? This goes for a m/t and a/t correct?
