Yep, so glad I got rid of mine while it was still under warranty. 27 times in the shop in 10 months was enough for me. Have you tried contacting customer relations? perhaps they might be able to help?

 

~78K miles... thats pretty high mileage.


at 5 years or 60K he would already be past his warranty considering these are not powertrain items, in the US.



is your extended warranty through hyundai or?

 

Extended warranty covers 'some' items until 150000km. Just not my problems. Yup forked over $1000+ to Hyundai for their warranty, based on all my previous troubles I thought it might come in handy, but of no help in these items.
