Does Installing Rear Camber Adjusting Bolts Void 100k Warranty?

When I asked the tire shop I went to, they said they would not put on nor would they adjust any aftermarket addons/mods/bolt-ons that aren't OEM stock or whatever. He also tried to tell me that even if I put it in myself, it would not work with their alignment machine setup (I think the guy was bs'n me). Also explained to me in a way that made it sound like the Veloster didn't have ANY rear camber because there was nothing to adjust. It was weird. Even though the rear left was -2.3 and the rear right -0.8 camber before and after the alignment job. Still pulled right too, only after inflating the front right tire 2psi higher did I get it to stop. The rear toe is within spec and the front end is both within spec for camber and toe.

I want to know if I should ask the dealership to install these camber bolts or not bother until my warranty runs out.

you cant adjust the rear camber with bolts, you need shims that go behind the hub assembly.

however up front you can use SPC camber bolts and the shop can easily adjust these - but they only offer up to 1.75 degrees in each direction.

But if I do that, I'm still going to have to take it to a shop to get it properly aligned right? I asked the shop I usually go to and they were dicks about it and said if it wasn't stock oem stuff they wouldn't touch it. I want to know if the dealership is going to do the same thing relating to the warranty. I am aware of the parts to get to adjust the toe and camber and what not, it is just the technicalities that may arise at the dealership if I do try this myself.

where did you go? some goodyear/firestone shops will let you do a custom alignment for the front, just tell them your car was in an accident. nobody is going to shim the rears for you unless its a speedshop specializing in aligning race cars.

Thats good to hear as I thought it was a bit strange, The shop's name was Discount Tire, I'm definitely considering not going there anymore as I recently had some issues. The front camber is in spec, but one thing is the rear thrust angle it reading -0.01 and I have a feeling that it leads to some of the pulling to the right I'm feeling. Is there any way to cheaply adjust the rear toe?

Any adjustment to the rear wheels is going to involve shims. That's just the way it is.

Similarly with the front, the only adjustment available is for the toe. It's going to takes special bolts and/or shims for any other adjustments for caster or camber.

There are different ways to adjust for thrust angle on the Veloster, but ,within an angle of .25° is normal acceptable range.

VT/RSPEC/RALLY no differences in alignment. RSPEC and RALLY have marginally different spring rates and there is some chatter that the RALLY got better shocks/struts.

VTN is completely different even compared to the 2G.
