Hi.

I bought my first 2012 Veloster one month ago.

When i turn on the sound I get some beeps as the music is playing, it's like beeps every 3 seconds, and the volume of the beep go louder for some time. It happens on FM, AM, XM, MP3, bluetooth...

The warranty expires 15 days before i bought the car! The dealer already bought another used sound to test, but i got the SAME problem.

I didn't find any other complaints about.

If someone could help me, i will be very glad.

Only thing I could think would be to try to reset it. In the top left corner there should be a tiny pin hole where you'll need to insert something like a paper clip to reset the radio. If that does not work, maybe try going into the settings and turn off the audio feedback setting where it beeps whenever you make an on screen selection. To reach this setting: Press "Setup" then "Audio" and then select "Beep". This should toggle off the Beep if it was on. This is how I would reach the audio settings on my head unit, yours may differ or may even be the exact same since we both have 2012's.

I have not experienced this issue before but I figured anything might help seeing as you haven't had any responses as of yet. Good luck on finding a solution.

Thanks Rodney!

I tried to reset and i did all these configurations. It's very strange, it's like a beep that come and go when i'm listening anything. Even with a new equipment the issue continue.

I'm thinking that could be something on the amplifier or antenna. That are the only possible options that come to my mind.

Thanks!
