This is driving me insane. I purchased this exhaust used and love it I would definitely not pay 1k for it but these few things are driving me insane. used some temporary bolts as we didn't get the Hardware Kit ARK provided any suggestions on how to make the exhaust not crooked?

going to have to strategically bend that bracket holding the tri-tips on.

sadly, we've learned in the north east that this high priced exhaust is not high quality. a few members here and locals have stated it didnt even last two winters before it started showing holes at the welds.

Hmm. Alright sounds like a great suggestion. I just got down and dirty to examine the exhaust one more time and I honestly don't see where this could be bending. My guess is that when progressive replaced my diffuser they didn't attach everything? I noticed some minor things were missing and it seems a little flimsy. I thought it should be smooth underneath so air can flow under the vehicle but I feel like air might get caught up inside... ANYWAY

There are no more adjustments I can do. I will probably order ARK hardware kit for this exhaust. (Emailed them before making this post and they responded that I can order the kits via sales rep)

if that doesn't work then I will definitely bend the bracket a little bit.

I checked the full exhaust again and there were no leaks so at least that's good.

A propane torch, some heavy gloves, and two pairs of pliers are going to be your best friend aligning those brackets properly. Take your time and plan your bend, and your exhaust should come out nicely. It's likely not the diffuser, but the exhaust hanger welded onto the ARK system. They're really not known for quality, even though I'd love their carbon fiber diffuser for a custom dual exhaust.

Thanks for the additional advice.

I only paid 200$ For this Exhaust and I was originally going for Borla so I had to make the steal as Borla was like $400 + and ARK are usually $1k + and do the adjustments. This is also my first car so I'm following as much build guides as I can. Ironically enough this is the 1 year anniversary of owning a car.

It's sad the quality is sub par as I love the sound. . Checking out the forums for the past year it seems like everyone pretty much just does a custom exhaust mod and just want to get there but for now this $200 Offer up fine is going to hold me over.. Haha unless.

I tightened everything up and it looked great for a while. But Arizona had a terrible storm recently and not surprisingly the mid pipe bolts are lose and I need to get under there again.

Question: Can anyone tell me the size of the nuts and bolts for the OEM Exhaust system? IF you can tell me the size of the bolts ARk uses that would be great.

I wanted to do a quick run to the store and replace all of the bolts as necessary and maybe use some locktite. I called ARK and they want to charge me $40 - $60 for some nuts and bolts and while I'm going to buy the hardware kit I need a quick fix till Friday.
