I will turn it on during late autumn and winter and off for spring, summer and Early Autumn. It works well when the roads are icy.

 

I turn it off immediately after I push the start button. I don't need any false safety blankets. I'm a rather capable driver and find it's rather annoying when it's on.

 

If it's anything like my GTI, it's really not that big of a deal. Even when launching from a stop it wouldn't kick in for that little bit of wheel spin (which I'm going to assume is a bit more than the VT puts out). The second the weather gets bad though, and the wheels start to spin, it's rather helpful, imo anyway.

No much difference as i could felt so far. As my mileage is more than 22000 km, it's already much smoother than before.

 

On the test drive I took in a VT, I was taking a turn that I wasn't used to and the TC kept me where I wanted to be. I could feel the car wanting to understeer and that would have put me too close to the concrete wall. Also, I did get a chirp going into 2nd gear so it doesn't dampen everything.
