I recently bought a short shifter for my 2015 VT and I ran into a problem. To get the shifter out I need to remove. But I’ve been searching online and some people say pry the metal to loosen it or break off completely with a dremel. If I break it don’t I have to put it back on? What is the best way to take it off?

its a pressure clip. you will need to pry it off from underneath (plastic side) you can get it back on using a socket and a mallet.
