Veloster is the general model. NAV refers to Naturally Aspirated Veloster, a contrario of the Turbo.

First generation Velosters (NAV or Turbo) each have their own specific front and rear end bumpers and mounting points, so not all parts are cross-compatible between the two iterations.

First gen and second gen Velosters share nothing much, seeing as it is a complete redesign.

PM me if you want to know my personal experience with aftermarket parts in Canada (I'm in Quebec).

Honestly I though the NAV version meant it had the navigation head unit with the maps and upgraded speakers along with the backup camera. Mine is a base MT model so had BlueStink and basic audio system. NAV units had the NAV or GPS button on the head unit unlike mine. But I can't say foe certain. I upgraded my sound, muffler, intake, headlights and put some Cool transformers emblems for maximum nostalgia before they became live action. 🤣 also, added two layers of tint to the glass top to reduce heat in summer. But ita still a standard model. I think the NAV units also have a GPS antenna and connector on back of the head unit. Mine doesnt, just the XM radio connector and a built in SIM for BlueStink. But I only know mine. Not sure about others. Mine is a 2012 None turbo Manual trans.

you are correct... NAV units has a different headunit/buttons completely.

NAV units do have a GPS antenna connector on the back.

You are thinking of the Value Edition.
