Great DIY! Thanks for sharing Crow!-How To Tuck It All Sexy Like-
What you need:
Ultra Gauge EM (with included Velcro)
Small zip ties
Flat head screw driver (optional)
First thing first, get your Ultra Guage, DONT plug it in till we are done (it wont break anything, just will take longer to "set up") and remove the clip that it comes on the back for the windshield mount.
Now take the two provided pieces of Velcro and place them how ever you like, I centered them below the LCD in the dash, one piece on the steering column, and another on the over hang (compare it too the picture below) and then mount your Ultra Gauge.

Let the wires hang for now, next find your fuse box panel and remove it

It should look like this (minus the switch, black/red wires, etc.) except your OBDII port will be inserted into the space my finger is pointing at. Problem is that the set up from the factory lets you plug into the port, but you cant put the cover back on while anything is plugged in. I like to have a clean install on everything i do to my cars, so the way i got around this is to take the flat head screw driver (or your finger like i did), and press the outsides of the connector inward towards the fuse panel. It should pop right out.

Next we are going to run the wire from the UG through the area my finger is pointing at, just slide the OBDII conector into it, its a perfect fit, then fish it out through the fuse box opening and pull out all slack in the wire.

Now Connect your UG, and turn your key to ACC right away, it will say scanning, should take about 15 seconds.

Set everything up how you want on the UG, and place it on the dash, and tuck your wiring down into the fuse box accordingley.

Now coil the excess wire up around your finger ( be sure to leave about a foot un-coiled so if you ever want to pull the gauge off the Velcro and adjust any settings/gauges) and slap a few zip ties on the loop.

slap on the fuse box cover and your good to go!

Did you calibrate your speed sensor or just the Ultra Gauge?I was thinking my spedo was off by over 5 mph but the Ultra Gauge needed to be calibrated. Turns out it's only showing about 1.3 mph high, not bad considering.
Tech.
Does this also check boost pressure and oil pressure? I was looking into this head unit but wanted to see if it worked with a 2016 Hyundai Veloster R-Spec so I can check my oil pressure and turbo boost.Just thought I would show you guys my Ultra Gauge. I know that if some of you are like me, you want to know what your car is doing at all times. It has 69 usable gauges for the Veloster (with more to come in future updates), any thing from RPMs to Intake Temp to the wattage going to your o2 sensor. Up to 8 pages of guages and 8 guages per page. You can set alarms for any gauge (RPM alarm goes off at 5500RPMs, etc.), read and clear all trouble codes and CELs. It plugs right into the OBDII port.

I've got an ultra gauge and no oil pressure but it does have vacuum. 🤷🏼♂️Does this also check boost pressure and oil pressure? I was looking into this head unit but wanted to see if it worked with a 2016 Hyundai Veloster R-Spec so I can check my oil pressure and turbo boost.
