Tail Light Thoughts and Advice

I don't think it's just me, but the first gen turbo tail lights are bit large. I love the LED and swoop effect, but wish there was a bit less red. Tinting is a solution of sorts, but I absolutely refuse to do anything unsafe. Seen too many trucks where I can barely see they are stopping. I know I'll have an SUV in my rear if I tint my lights, so I thought of an idea.

That was just some black construction paper, but gave me an idea of what it would look like. What do you think?

Question though, would I be fine just buying some dark tint on Amazon or would it be better to find a tint shop to have it done? I don't want to take the time to cut all that perfectly just to have it peel in a few months.

tint should work fine if you prep things properly. you can pull the lights from the vehicle to make it easier as well.

Sounds good. Yeah, the tiny roll on Amazon is like $20 so that's a pretty affordable way to go.
