I see that the 3.5 sxth intake is considered the best by many.
When i go to there site I see different configurations of this intake some with no provision for either the bpv hose or the breather hose deleted or kept.
I also see that there instructions says that you need to remove the front bumper.
Am i missing something here?
Do they have a CAI & a SRI is that what it is?
I only see the SRI and wonder why you would need to pull the front bumper off to install this?
I do plan on calling them about this confusion of mine but wanted to give peeps here a chance to put my OCD to rest over this holiday.

Thanks for the quick replys.

What is this resonator assembly you speak of?

I just got off the PH with Sxth and they say it is not necessary to remove the bumper.
That i can remove the factory air box from the top.
I also saw a video on u-tube of a installation of a sxth SRI where they did not remove the bumper.
So maybe I can still think about using this intake.
I know that I don't want to remove my front bumper if I don't need too.

You are most assuredly right( i don't know s%%t) if I was going to use the CAI this piece is more then likely in the way i suppose.
In using the SRI i believe that removing just the air box and another piece that is towards the front that is held in with 2 clips up on top is all the room i will need .
The most helpful tech that i talk to this morning at sxth said that he did not remove his front bumper to install his SRI and thought it unnecessary.
Thanks again for sharing you knowledge.
I do want to use this intake.
Eddie screwing up a perfectly fine car.
The exhaust I put on my car is sweet it has me grinning from ear to ear !
Now I want more.
UNLEASE the KRAKEN
BY the way they are out of stock and the tech told me that they have orders for 80% of what is coming in.
But my credit card bill has the exhaust on it and needs to be paid off first .
I am working on controlling my OCD.
