Car idles at super low rpm’s then shuts off, oil and battery light pop up on screen. this also occurs when i am parked or coming to a complete stop while driving as well as when i reverse at 1k rpm’s. car starts up just fine prior to it happening and after it happening. I just recently purchased this Veloster Turbo (2015) so i don’t know much about them or cars in gerneral (newbie) PLEASE HELP!

how old is the battery?

Run a few tanks of top tier gasoline thru the engine as well as plenty of gasoline additive.
The battery may need replacing if it hasn't already been replaced.

I believe i have discovered the issue. my air intake tube had a giant hole in the bottom of it.

not sure that will be the resolution. the air is not metered in any way until the sensor on the intake manifold itself. the only trouble is that it will be unfiltered. got a photo?

yup, car doesn’t turn off anymore in low rpms but i do have a check engine light on now
