Since I didn't check it on my Veloster when I've changed the oil, does anyone know what size/pitch the oil drain plug is? I went on Advanceautoparts.com since they're a local parts store and they claim it's a 12x1.75 mm plug. I searched on some other Hyundai forums and they say the drain plug for the Sonata is 14x1.5 mm (same as Honda) but I can't seem to cross-reference it to the V. I set my vehicle as the V on the advanced website and it said the 14x1.5 mm doesn't fit. I don't know who or what to trust. I guess I'll have to call the local Hyundai dealer sometime tomorrow unless one of you kind members has this info. As I'm sure you've guessed by now I'm replacing the OEM plug with a magnetic unit. Thanks in advance for any good info.
