I just want to share a small fix I did to my blower fan, winter is ending here in norway and with the fan less active I started to notice a high pitch of the motor. So I removed the blower assembly (SO SIMPLE! just 3 screws under the glovebox) and then took it apart.

To remove the fan without damaging it (it is a delicate piece and prying with metal may scuff or break blades) I just stuffed some nylon rope under it until it popped out:

And inside it was just matter of removing some clips and lubricating the bearings. As grease I used Tamiya Molybdenium, which I consider the perfect grease for metal-to-metal light wear. It is not dirty or thick, but removes noise. I use the Cera-Grease version for plastic-to-metal or plastic-to-plastic, and the high wear one for metal to metal with high friction.

Now I can only hear the "wind" :D
