New to me 2016 Veloster Turbo here...

Just picked up a 2016 Vitamin C Turbo with only 62k for only $10k. Feel like I got a good deal for the year & mileage...

Previous Owner apparently added an Injen IS Short Ram Cold Air Intake. And by the sound some sort of upgraded BOV.

Since I'm new to this car, what are some other common mods I should look for???

First, welcome! Second, let me say you got a very good deal considering the very low mileage and the decent price (used car prices are crazy!). Plus, the Vitamin C along with Electrolyte green was what really made the Veloster such a phenomenon when it came out! I'm the anti-modder, so you won't get advice from me! But there are plenty of folks here who can help you.

Thanks man! This car is fun.
About the mods, I'm asking about about how to determine what may have been modded already.

Welcome. I bought my V Turbo new in 2016. Traded in my 2013 V Turbo for it. This is a great car, with a quirky transmission. Be careful of any electronic mods such as Race Chip. It works great but it enhances the transmission fade in second gear. They swear it's not the chip, but when I take it out, it stops. Well it stops as much as any 7 speed dual clutch Hyundai tranny does. The second gear fade seems to be a hallmark, and I haven't found a way to fix it yet, except to lay off the accelerator and then floor it!.

My only other piece of advice is to use only Hyundai OEM sensors and coil packs on it. These cars are very finicky about parts. I've been buying through Albert Hwang. You can locate him on Facebook. OEM parts, and prices about 2/3 of Hyundai dealership pricing. Fast shipping too, usually a week or less from S Korea.

Using 93 octane gas, (if you can afford it), helps as well.

Have fun. They are super fun cars to drive.

Under the hood looks pretty stock except for the short ram intake...

Thanks for the advice!
I poured a bottle of Blue Devil fuel system cleaner in the tank that it came from the dealer with since I had no clue what they put in it, and ran that tank to Zero miles, the just filled with 93. And as long as it stays under $4/gallon here, I'll probably keep doing that.
I also have a 26 gallon gas guzzling HEMI Ram, so this 13 gallon tank was nice to fill up...
