hello there i have 2013 veloster 1.6 automatic. i just did a engine swap with same type of engine. i am having a hard time aligning the flywheel to the tranny. the motor binds when i tighten all the bolts. I have turned the engine several times with the bolts loose but i cant seem to align it. Is there a special tool or trick?

Sounds like the input shaft binding, can you spin it a bit ... got any photos of your work? It’s a DCT...

Insure you are orienting the flywheel in the correct relationship to the engine.

Is there a easy way to this? I can't really see the orientation of the flywheel once the engine is mated the tranny. Are there timing alignment marks on the flywheel that you can see from the bottom of the engine?
