so!!!

i thought i would give this a go...

not too old... just getting my first oil change now hahaha

its a 2016 rally... only mods so far are the hyundai original parts ( axel back and strut bar)

i also put a temporary cone filter, but i will be putting a full intake soon

i went track day racing sunday... did some pretty poor times... i was only limited by the crappy tires they put on stock... (that i will be changing next spring btw)

so here it is

i will add a follow up when i change things or take more photos

so i decided the theme of my build will be air plane/ canadian airforce related

couple parts on order (spacers, tow hook, yellow tint for my fogs), just got front clear tape done in the front

will be updating when i get these parts...

going to a local car show this week end... photos to come

so... due to the superb weather in quebec... car show was put back to next saturday...

so.... didnt have time to do a follow up...

blacked out grill and logo
yellow fogs

did some mecanical mods also

intercooler resonator delete
real full intake

got my spaces also... but it will wait till spring... going to be putting on steel wheels for winter soon anyways

and next mods will probably be:

led lights, yellow drl, and looking into a lowering kit

small update...

nothing major... swaped the hyundai performance axelback for a mbrp catback...

wooooooooaaahhh its loud hahahaha

other then that... quebec life... bridgestone blizzak tires on 16inch rims... winter mode

the real goodies will come spring

im waiting now for my rally armor mud flaps... i panic each time i hear a rock :O

havent updated in a long time,

so... here is a quick list of what has been done to the car

exterior mods and lighting,

front protective tape
painted yellow fog lights
painted rear reflectors black
blacked out front grill (that will soon be swapped)
tinted window all around
amber led fog bulbs
amber and drl high beams
lower lip
yakima cross bar kit with bike rack

suspension and tires:

225/45/18 firestone indy 500 tires
eibach springs
hyundai performance front strut bar
oem rays wheels ( to be swapped in spring????)

interior mods:

elantra sport shift knob
blue led lighting
boost gauge
belt pads

performance:

custom downpipe
catback
modified with hyundai performance muffler to quiet down
catch can with breather mod
injen intake
mbrp intercooler pipes
blow off valve

thats that so far...

like stated up top, i have a honeycomb grill in order...

other then that... once i take the bumper off to take the grill i will take out the left side fog light and put a tube pipe directly to the air intake... becauseracecar

i will be looking into different wheels this winter, and a rear spoiler set up...

and then i will try and find some ways to spice up the interior... not sure what... or how... but thats later...

the wheels are oem rally edition rays volk wheels 18 x 7.5

tires are firestone indy 500 225/40/18

wheels will MAYBE be for sale this spring... i want to swap out for some enkei or te37 race wheels with wide offset

this build is looking good! The rally matte blue is so beautiful! I want to get some minor scratches fixed on mine and then maybe to a ceramic coat to protect the rest <3 Can't wait to see what else you do to the rally!
