So I’m wanting to make my 2019 2.0 actually sound good. Everything is stock and I’m just wanting to make it a little louder and aggressive. I’ve never really done a lot to cars before. So I was wondering if it’d be a good idea to get rid of the muffler. Would that do any harm, make it to loud/annoying, or just a bad idea. Also is there something I can do to the stock exhaust system that’d make any difference or should I just wait and buy something

Just removing the resonator on the stock exhaust will help with the volume a bit while making it a bit raspy.

It won't be super obnoxious though but will have a nice sporty sound while keeping the integrity of the exhaust.

Any muffler shop can do this work for $100 bucks while keeping it emissions legal.
Should sound good for the non turbo car and good luck. 🤙
