My 2012 V’s low beam headlight socket melted and is no longer functional. I was hoping I could find just the part at a junk yard and rewrite. No luck. One place had the whole headlight w/o projector assembly for $200.

So I know several have replace their headlights with other lights and was wondering if you did if you had this piece still.

Let me know. Or is there a cheaper way than $200 to replace the halogens.

Ignore --- ended up finding a headlight assembly for $145 on ebay. Now I just have to find the thread on how to take the old one off.

I was looking for the thread about replacing the headlight assembly and I think I found it but all the photos are broken links.

I found a video On replacing it on a 2013 V turbo. Mine is a 2012 V base. Is it the same procedure as it looks like the bumper has to be removed to get to third bolt.

Hello, does the headlight assembly have the wiring socket attached when you buy the whole assembly.
It might if you get one from a junk yard car. No chance that would come with a new h/l assy.
