Been looking for a veloster for my wife for awhile now. Found one fairly local with about 50,000 miles and has dct trans. I have heard mixed reviews about the trans and see that hyundai is being sued over it. Should I avoid and keep looking, or if I get do I have any recourse in the future. Thanks Larry

I don't have any experience purchasing used vehicles, but I can speak for owning a DCT & I've gone through 2 DCT's & 3 flywheels ALL UNDER WARRANTY.

I cannot stress to you enough about having a warranty. My car has come a long way with currently over 117,000 miles & tuned safely by Xenon Element.

If you are further interested in this vehicle I highly recommend researching the vehicles maintenance history & what campaigns have been completed.

GL!

Nonturbo with the even more fragile 6DCT here. 137,000 delivery/rental miles and still working fine, have not replaced anything between the engine and driveshafts since I got it 100,000 miles ago.
