Hello all,
While I know there are a few older threads about this floating around. I have a few of my own questions about this.
Recently I replaced my old bulbs in my 2012 Veloster base with these:
AUTOONE H7 LED Bulb
While everything seams to be working fine, except for the lights seam like they need to be adjusted up a little bit more. I have also been doing some more research on LED bulbs for my headlights.
I came across this thread:
Headlights for 2012 Veloster
#9 post recommended some nice LED bulbs (Aukee H7 LED Bulbs, 50W 6000K 10000 Lumens
Link) but they are also talking about (Bulb Adapter Holders Socket Base Retainer Clips
Link) are these really needed?
The LED bulbs I have purchased for my 2012 Veloster I literally just plugged them into the socket and put them back in.. did I do something wrong? over half the LED's I do come across have heat sinks and fans built into them.. the LED's I bought have none of that... So I am more then a little confused as well as worried when others start talking about converter boxes, bulb adapters, extended dust caps, and all these other stuff.
So if I purchased the (Aukee H7 LED Bulbs, 50W 6000K 10000 Lumens) since they seam even brighter then the LED's I purchased plus they look to have a cooling fan as well. Would I need the retainer clips as well? I should I just be able to plug them in like the last bulbs.
OR.. do I just look for some nice regular high output halogen bulbs. I really don't care about looks. I just want to be able to see at night when I drive lol.
Thank you for any help and suggestions.
