Where do I start ...I. Purchased a 2014 Hyundai Veloster supposed to be a turbo it has a turbo sticker on driver door and always been a question I would like to know how to tell if it's really turbo or not if anyone can help with that I would greatly appreciate it..so I bought it from a used car lot with one prior owner and around 64 k on motor for 13k.actually financed it pAyment of 400 a month until last year pandemic hit hard and I do not feel this car is worth another dime personally.i have continuously had problem after problem with this car .everything from electrical like. Backup camera very dark and blurry most the time especially in the rain wich poses a big safety issues because u have no choice but to rely on it because you cannot see otherwise.the brakes grabbing at random times sometimes so hard it almost brings me to a complete stop. Other times it's just been stuck on constantly hearing and feeling it on most times .after numerous times taken into shop they finally found. It sticking and fixed it but it still does it off and on even now.its the scariest thing I ever felt to all of a sudden while driving on windy roads my brakes out of nowhere grab so much it almost brings me to a complete stop .took it to Hyundaii dealer shop they couldn't see anything wrong with brakes said I probly need to purchase a new backup camera myself and they did find and see where my seatbelt lights constantly going on and just reset it just for it to come back on again later.at around 90 k miles out of nowhere and right after I got done checking all fluid levels we were cruising along no problem at all then everything went out on the car around a corner the motor shut down all my lights everything died right there in the middle of the road .I was able to turn key off and back on just long enough to barely get it to the side of Rd and there we sat for hours awaiting help in a no cell service area too.finally after many hours I tried it again and it turned over sounded awfully misfiring on all the cycle dars and check engine light on blinking no power hardly I was barely able to limp it home and then to the shop .they informed me that there was no compression at all in calendar 3 and knowing how Hyundai motors are they strongly suggested to replace my motor.at that time I had. Purchased a extended warranty for my car because I was having so many issues I thought it would be a good idea and am I glad I did .they sent their investigated out and he agreed on a new used motor they found and put it in for $5500.tbat motor had 70 k on it.well that 2 year warranty just ran out like 2 months ago and I'm on the freeway cruising along no problems at all then out of nowhere my car starts loosing power check engine lights flashing and I barely get it off the freeway exit it sounds horrible throwing the same random cylinder misfiring codes .both times this happened it never got hot or overheated at all too had oil and water in it too both times I service my vehicle frequently probly more than needed because it's been consuming more and more oil the last few. Months and bur ning it looking dark brown on dipstick so I take it in for oil change alot more than I should have to anyways.so I have it towed to nearest shop they just informed me it's throwing multiple misfire codes and two cycle dars are without any compression and one of my sparkplugs were laying on it's lide the middle of it broken or melted or something consistent with overheating but it didn't overheat at all.when turned car back on before towtruck came it was blowing out blue whitre smoke from it also still never overheated though .they said there was still water and oil in it too.they say to get a new motor now too.my car has 160 k miles on it I don't understand why this is happening again now too .anyone have any idea what's going on with it or suggestions other than a new motor I cannot afford a motor I do not have extended warranty or any insurance at all at the moment and on top of it the bank still expects me to pay them another 7 k on this car still too.im at at loss and don't have a clue what to do here at all .any suggestions would be appreciated sorry for the long text .and that's only a few of the many other problems I have encountered with this car.i really like the car too .very sad ....
