I've owned a 2016 Veloster NA for the last 3 years and I've always wanted to boost the HP of my current Veloster. When I did some research a while back I was told that it might be cheaper to trade in my current NA model for a turbo model than to turbocharge the NA but I think it would be alot cooler to have a sleeper NA than a stock Turbo.

Had anyone here turbocharged their NA Veloster and if they have, how much work is it?
Were there any complecations?
Unexpected side effects?
Other modifications that needed to be done, such as an ECU tune and/or upgrade?
Can you supercharger a Veloster?
Are there any inexpensive and effective methods of boosting hp with NA engines?

Welcome! Yes, our slow NA's are in need of some "boost"! But, like most of us, we're used to it. It is not worth trying to convert the NA to Turbo. Period. Yes, you would be far better off trading in your 2016 for a factory turbo and then you would at least still have a warranty that is worth something. And end of year sales are the best time to do this with the closer to the end the better!
