Wheel Car Tire Vehicle Land vehicle

Just recently picked up a 2012 Hyundai Veloster 48k miles.
Has been a fun car to drive so far. I'm a little nervous about winter since I live in NY (not the city but upstate)
But I supose with front wheel drive and some good all seasons I should be good to go. I don't travel far, so it's not like I'm going to go into the back road woods or anything.
So far I have brought it into the Hyundai dealer for some recalls and campaigns. They did a really nice job with the undercoating spray for one of the campaigns. Since salt is a thing where I live.
Some of the negatives, it looked like whoever owned it gouged the crap out of the radio head cover trying to remove it 🫤. Along with all but the driver side door speaker little round dust caps have fallen off and rattle when I listen to music. Which I need to remove the skin from the doors and get them out.
Besides that the car, engine and trans seam to be good and strong. Oh and the original headlight bulbs had to go.. good lord I couldn't see. So I picked up from LED's from Amazon and they are much better.
I'm hoping the car will be good and reliable choice for me for years to come.

Welcome to the forums.
welcome to the club!

FWD + snow tires will be great in the snow. nice that they undercoated your car, i am battling with them now for reimbursement after my own time/labor and cost to replace the rotted brake lines.

the speaker caps can be glued back on, that is what hyundai does.

Ya I was thinking about winter tires.. but I figure some good all seasons for the amount I travel will do nicely.
Ya I actually looked up like "speaker glue" with the intention of glueing them back on.. but I figure if they eventually go, it will give me a reason to buy new speakers lol
I just don't look forward to trying to remove the plastic panel behind the drivers side seat..
