Hey guys/gals,

Hope this hasn't been posted before, I used the search function but could not find what I was looking for.

So the missus got a 2013 Veloster with an aftermarket HID kit. Now this kit had seen better days and was a bit botched so I decided to replace it with stock halogens for now, opting LED's later on.
However, I am a bit stuck.

The plastic clip that held the HID in was mangled and entirely unusable. So I did a bit of hunting and found an adapter ring.
Not from this website, but it looks like this:

Anyhoo, I was all chuffed until I realised that it doesn't actually lock the bulb into place. The ring locks, but the bulb isn't. I thought maybe I had the wrong bulb, but Mr. Google told me it was H7 (which is what I have).
The car has projectors, if that makes any difference.

What am I missing here?
Thanks a lot for any input.

I don't think the H-7 bulb needs indexing because it is a single filament bulb and will be accurate regardless of it's placement clockwise.
