With tools! All kidding aside I have never done one before but it can't be to difficult. Hardest part I would assume is getting all the nuts and bolts loose. A lift would also be handy being that everything is tucked up in there pretty tight.

Actually he's right.
Past posts seem to always report about broken studs at the exhaust. So that seems to be the biggest problem.
High heat will aid in removing the fasteners but you must be careful because the opportunity to do serious damage is there in full exposure.

Depends on the state i suppose. I recommend a stud extractor, lots of pb blaster (or equivalent), a torch and new studs.

I live in Minnesota so anything exhaust related is a 3 day job

Yup the elbow at the turbo is the worst. Heat, patience, lots of lube.

If it is straight piped it will def pop under certian situation (like rev matching) and is pretty much a constant gurgle. A straight piped anything even na will pop.

But to rpm's point, not the sound a tune will.

Also pipe diameter matters.

Generally there is a cat in the down pipe, a cat (#2) and resonator in the mid pipe, then a muffler. So removing all that would be straight piped.
