Finally starting to work on my Veloster!

Hey all, I've owned my 2015 base Veloster for quite some time now and have recently started to get into finally working on it; I came to this absolutely amazing forum for some inspiration and answers and I've clearly found a great community!
I've wanted to start this thread to document my journey on working on my car and most likely ask some questions in the future; feedback would be greatly appreciated.
I am still learning about cars in general, and it's been a great interest of mine so far.

My current plan is to start with painting the center part of my bumper, I was considering bumper swapping for a VT bumper but I already know that will be a crazy expense for someone just getting started into this. So here goes my first question!
I'm assuming that the paint I should be using to paint that part of my bumper is an acrylic enamel paint that I can simply get from AutoZone, somebody correct me if I'm wrong :)
After that, I plan to install a bumper lip that I confirmed was the correct fitment for the base Veloster and not the VT.

Please let me know if any ideas you'd like to share as well as your experiences!
Super excited to be in this community.

yeah the autozone paint works good I used it on my 95 explorer forest green and fixed up some sun damage on the hood and the hood matched the rest of the car other than the old paint was so faded lol but it looks good and some have the sparkle in it it’s pretty sexy haha

I decided to start over since I never thought about the holes in my bumper that the previous owner drilled in; I filled them, sanded then, etc. ill be going over it with a gloss finish under the emblem part of it. Ill send the final result soon!
I forgot to keep y'all updated but I filled the holes on my bumper, filled them, and now it looks better than ever.

I also installed a strut brace!
Vehicle Car Hood Automotive lighting Vehicle registration plate
Automotive tire Motor vehicle Tread Gas Fender

I also installed brand new headlights, way better than the stock ones:
Tire Wheel Automotive parking light Car Vehicle
Wheel Tire Car Vehicle Automotive lighting

I have a wing coming in but it's being heavily delayed while shipping. But ill try my best to keep you all updated for real this time.

Sadly, after 2 years of misfiring issues, im selling this car and upgrading to the Veloster N

I took my current car to 3 separate dealerships because of my extended warranty for a total of 14 times and 3 individual mechanics/technicians for a total of 8 times, and yet nobody in Tampa Bay can fix my car.

its sad for me because of my dear attachment to this car, but with the N model, i have many more plans to work on it.
