Hey All,
I've got a (maybe) dumb question. When downshifting manually in my '14 Veloster Turbo, I notice that the car seems to slow down jerkily. I'm probably doing something wrong. Do I need to rev-match or blip the throttle while downshifting an automatic like I do with a manual? Or does it take care of that automatically? I want to eventually track this car, so I'd like to get the feel for shifting quickly and safely so I don't leave bits of gears on the racetrack.
Thanks!
