I have a 2016 turbo with the 7 speed dct. Does anyone have a resource on changing the fluid?

What mileage are you at? The manufacturer states it just needs to be inspected and topped off if needed (my 2012 hadn't needed it at 90k miles and still doesn't at 112k)

It's at 75k, and I drive daily up a canyon for work. Thw dealer recommends changing it every 40k, which seems nuts.

Iirc 2012 dct service was check it every 45k miles not completely flush it.

Although i found a 2017 hyundai usa doc that states replace every 75k miles and inspect every half interval. If you're having the dealer do it i would just replace it at 75k and 150k (if you get there).

I found that doc too, I would just rather do it myself, but not sure if the procedure is the same for the 7 speed as it is for the 6.

It's not that much and it is not hard, 2 bottles of RP max gear or RL mt-85. Just do it, and every 30k.

30k is excessive for a transmission
