2019 Veloster N 6spd w/ 20,000 miles. After parking brake disengaged & put into gear as soon as car moves I hear one to three extremely loud cracking noises coming from the rear suspension. Sounds as if I'm running over a large tree branch or something & the rear axle is going to snap. Hyundai dealership states there's nothing wrong with my vehicle nor can they "duplicate" the sound themselves when its left with them, even though I show them videos of exactly what's happening. It happens nearly almost everyday & just seems to get louder & worse. Anyone else having this issue or know what's causing it? Thanks!

that is most likely the parking brake rusting in place. they are better than normal pads.

Have them check the traction bars. That's what happened to mine. It was making a weird clunking noise like the wheel was gonna fall off. I live in CA as well and most of the roads jare terrible.

My parking brake will stick if the car gets wet and sits for awhile. I hear a pop or snap when I move forward or reverse. It is infrequent, and I just live with it.
