Whats going on everyone. I have base N/A V. As you can figure, I don't have dimensional speakers, and that space for the center speaker is bothering me. I was thinking about making some sort of compartment there, that you can open and close. Maybe use it to keep car paperwork, cigarettes, or something like that. Does anyone know approximate depth of that space? From what I heard it's not that deep, so it would be pain in the b***s try to fit there gps. I forgot to take a look at it, when I was wiring my new amp, and I don't feel like scratching up the plastic around my headunit even more. So if anyone has any details on it, I would like to hear it.

That's what they did with that Santa Fe. My girlfriend has an 07 SE so it doesn't have the infinity system with the center speaker. They put a nice little compartment with a little pop up door in it. I can't tell you how deep it is on the v though. It's about 2.5 to 3 inches. It would have to be big enough to fit the depth of a speaker. So it won't be ridiculously shallow.
