Given our cars have direct injection turbo charged engines. We are susceptible to blow by & immense carbon build up. This will severely reduce the lifetime of our engines if left unsolved. A great preventative measure will be an oil catch can to filter the air coming from the pcv. I also reccomend to get a carbon cleaning before you install one which will greatly improve performance and reliability. Linked below is what I’ve found to be the highest quality and simple to install catch can kit for our cars. Single catch can is plenty, I opted for dual catch can. It comes with everything (pre-cut tubing, catch cans, fasteners, and a mount specifically for our cars) out of the box and simple instructions. Also managed to get you guys a 5% discount code:
5% discount code for catch can and other products
Single catch can kit VT1.6
Dual catch can kit VT1.6

P.S this is the kit for those who aren’t tight on budget and want to have a pre-engineered kit specifically for your car. Ready to install out of the box. You will need to empty around every 3000 miles aka oil change, you simply unscrew it or can get a drain kit from them as well if you’re bougie. If you drive at WOT you will see the pcv to intake catch can do its magic quite quickly. It shows you how much junk is usually getting dumped back into your intake. I would make this your first upgrade due to increase in reliability and its necessity if you do choose to go for more power.
