My 2017 is displaying E also. But it won’t go into gear. Did you ever find a solution for this issue?
My 2017 is displaying E also. But it won’t go into gear. Did you ever find a solution for this issue?Looking to see if anyone has had this problem and how you fixed it.
Took my car in for 2 active recalls. The dealership tried to returned the car to me with the display cluster showing "E" for each gear. Normally they would say P, R, N, D, 1, 2 but now each gear shows as E. They also states the car now has a stall.
The dealership claimed the recall caused the error, but Hyundai corporate declined to fix it as they state the recall couldn't possible cause that error.
The dealership now wants to replace the transmission.
Any help would be appreciated.

Hey, were you able to find a solution to the issue? My 2013 Veloster has been serviced a few weeks ago. The dealer replaced the engine, and now the dashboard is showing E and I can't go past the first gear.
This may not apply to your year, but maybe a step in the right direction.
Hey, I don't know if you found the issue already, but for me the car needed its computer software to be updated. I took it in to a dealer, and after they did the update the car started working again.Did you ever figure it out? I’m at a loss myself. Thank you
