What transmission do y’all prefer? The traditional automatic transmission found on the Turbos from 2013-2015 or the DCT found on NAVs and Turbos from 2016 onwards? And why?

traditional automatic has much higher reliability than dct.

The 6DCT could not take the torque the Turbo put out, but the 2016 model on debuted a 7DCT that could.

The 6AT is better for durability, being a traditional torque converter automatic.

That said, I'm at 167,000 miles on the 6DCT and I haven't blown it yet, despite using it for delivery driving. I bought this car specifically because it has a DCT, and it would probably be my only chance to tick off that bucket list item - daily a car with a DCT.
