2012 veloster na tunes?

I have a 2012 Hyundai veloster na and I’ve got it res and muffler deleted and I’m wanting to get pops and bangs and wondering what tuners and what not I need and what’s compatible. These na’s seem to be a pain. TIA

You're not going to get very far with a NA tune. Good luck though.
qwik tyme is your guy... but a 2012 can have potential they got the least restrictive of the oem tunes. as long as it's a manual.

So what are the gains? and cost?

Seems like this would be a stupid question but what does the "na" stand for?
naturally aspirated. non turbo

Ahh Thank you, I'm in the same boat - is it a standard? I have the manual transmission w/ about 242,XXX miles on it.
It's not cheap, and to do it right, the car should be dyno'd before and after, and I doubt the (safe) gains are great. We'll find out what RP says. He had a NA and upgraded to a turbo
10-15hp/tq max and about 700 bucks.

you could do worse with a more expensive muffler.
I have an even stupider question.....why would "anyone" want "pops" & "bangs"........

I have a stupider question, Why would anyone invest 700+ for a 10-15 hp gain? (not counting the price of aftermarket add-ons)
LOL that's why i said you could do worse with a muffler! so much expensive stuff out there for parts. in the realm of things besides a CAI, a tune is cheap now.
I have always felt that pops and bangs were indicative of fuel that was being wasted. i.e., NOT being used to power pistons down cylinders... hence an indicator that something is amiss.

In fact, back in the day, my Dad would actually cause his 56 Chevy to backfire on purpose by leaving the car in gear while rolling, shut OFF the ignition for a second or two then switch it back on. POW!

Yeah... LOL... real impressive for a Stovebolt 6 with a three on the tree lemme tellya! ;-)
that's some uncle buck stuff for you right there ;)
