I have a 2016 auto VT, and I was wanting to know what mods will benefit this car the most in speed and performance.

Dude yo

Dude you need to just sit down, take your time, and read the various subforums here and gain some knowledge before you throw money at the car.
Without knowing more about your car and what your ultimate goals are you're wasting your money.

Modding a car is a balancing act if chassis, suspension, wheels and tires, and transmission.
Just adding a bigger turbo is like a guy going to the gym and working only his chest for 2 hours a day and not doing anything else. 🤦🤷
See where I'm going here?

In answer to the question they make a stuffed turbo for the VT and is a direct bolt on.
You will need supporting mods for it to work safely.

Good luck. 👍

Where?

Its a serious question. Drag strip? Race track? "Canyon carving"? Or driving in a straight line street racing?

In the first three scenarios the first mod one should always make that will have the biggest impact is tires.

For the last one, I won't help you. Because that is stupid.

My question seems to be making everyone mad at me, so I will rephrase it. I would like to know if anyone knows the best and most effective way to make the Veloster QUICKER and MORE FUN TO DRIVE.

nobody here is mad... just sounds like you don't have any idea about the car. like misnblu said, you really have to figure out what your ultimate goal is... there is ALOT of **** parts out there for these cars or potentially parts you don't even need.

if you want to have more fun driving, opt for suspension work and better tires/brakes.... you want fast, you'll need supporting mods before getting a tune and especially before getting a big turbo.

i've been flogging mine with no performance adders all over new england tracks for years. my signature has my mods. my car isn't necessarily quicker, but i certainly don't have to use the brakes as much.

Lots of times folks will post such a question just to get some info quickly. And perhaps just a place to START. And that's cool. Makes sense... let's ask those that have been down the road what they've done and if they're happy with it.

Been a while since I've even thought about the "goodies" I've put on mine but the list is pretty short. K&N Typhoon intake, Intake resonator delete, SXTH element Muffler Delete and the AFE "Scorcher" piggyback tuner. Those are the PERFORMANCE mods and I am EXTREMELY happy with how it all worked out.}

NOW... that said... I'm here in SW FlawDUH where the roads are pancake flat and arrow straight. Sadly, I have no twisties to run through or canyons to carve.. but I do have Q-Tips to slalom around. ;-)

What I don't get... is with those road conditions... why is it that there are SO many "Rollovers" here? We have three kinds of wrecks: Rollovers, car in canal and car vs. bulding.

Others I'm sure will chime in... and yes, absolutely, you could easily spend HOURS and HOURS combing the wealth of info here. By all means, GO for it.

Welcome to the fray and enjoy the ride!
