Actually, I went to Home Depot & had a sample jar (like a half-pint's worth) of Behr Premium Ultra Interior/Exterior paint mixed...cost under 3 bucks, I think, and applied it with a $1 foam brush. No real issues to speak of, other than brake dust getting them dirty. Since Austin is still (or constantly) under Stage 2 drought restrictions, I can't wash my car at home. I normally go through a drive-thru, "no touch" pressure wash, and haven't noticed any peeling or flaking. I think I applied three coats total. The color is a tad brighter than the body color, but the average person probably doesn't notice.
Hello. I have a Vit C 2013 VT. I was looking to paint my Calipers and saw that you had found an orange "Caribbean Spice" that closely matches that Vit-C color. I wanted to know how it has been holding up to the heat? Did you get special type of paint?
