Unhappy My Veloster taken out by drunk driver!

I owned a 2014 Veloster Turbo R-Spec, which had low mileage and was in excellent condition and was the beautiful Marathon Blue Pearl color that I love. I took really great care of my Blue Pearl and really loved that car. Unfortunately my grandson and I were hit head on by a drunk driver on March 1 and Blue Pearl is totaled! Just glad we only had airbag injuries. The car stayed very stable in the hit and I was really impressed by how it took it! It was my first car accident ever and I am 63. Hopefully it was my last! I will be getting a settlement but it won't be enough to cover the costs of totally replacing it or upgrading a little. Anyway, I am looking for another 2014 or a 2015, with mileage under 50,000 if anyone has one for sale or knows where one is for sale within a few hours of Roanoke, Va.

So sorry. Glad you guys were okay! Did the DUI driver have insurance? There's a Carmax in Lynchburg that has or can get what you are looking for. https://www.carmax.com/cars?search=Hyundai%20Veloster

Phooey...no Blue Pearl. Color means a lot to me...if it's my favorite color I am more inclined to keep it nice and clean. But thanks for trying to help me.

Ouch.... that's a damn shame. Glad you're OK though. Good luck in your search to replace!
    Later!

I feel your pain, sir... Well, the emotional part anyway. I lost a 2016 Veloster Turbo in the same color.

I managed to dodge a head-on collision, but couldn't get quite far enough away. He collided with my tail end, sent me spinning and then proceeded to plow into the Ford F350 behind me. I know I went around at least one and a half times (I was facing the wrong direction when I came to a stop), but it may have been two and a half. Either way, the tail end was definitely off the ground for part of that - the whole undercarriage was smashed up inside the body.
