If you follow the prompts in the screen you will find this item will not fit the Hyundai Veloster.

    Exclamation

The info may not be entirely accurate. The part is the same on all Kia/Hyundais with the electric power steering. The Veloster is on the TSB and the replacement part number is 56315-2K000-FFF

I just noticed the steering wheel "clunking" in the past couple of days. It's probably the MDPS rubber coupler though I'd have them check the universal joint first just to make sure it's tight. Has anyone else had this recently? Not looking forward to getting a $20 part with $300 worth of labor. The TSB doesn't show up on my VIN check.

Mine's been thunking for the past two years. Literally a $5 fixit OEM part on Amazon, will eventually scrounge up the $230 labor to have a shop do it.

Dealership checked the steering and it was the MDPS bushing. I bought Cost Guard coverage years ago and it covered the part and labor. Not sure why it didn't cover the windshield washer and pump assembly, though.
