    2012 Veloster Tires

I recently purchased a 2012 Veloster NAV. It has the 18" wheels. I was going to change from the stock 215/40R18 to 225/40R18 to improve the ride and need some advice on tire selection. Does anyone have either the Continental Purecontact LS or the Yokohama Avid Ascend GT on the Veloster? What do you like and dislike about them. I live in Colorado and would like an all season tire.

You will find no ride improvement with a change to that increased tread width. A change to a lesser diameter wheel with a corresponding increase in tire sidewall height to match the overall OEM tire diameter, on the other hand, will yield a softer ride. Stock N/A wheels are 17" diameter, and some owners have opted for 16" diameter wheels.
