Hyundai Veloster Picked Up for SEMA 2011

We picked up our Hyundai Veloster yesterday from HMA and are starting up the build for the 2011 SEMA Show. I will do my best to keep you guys updated on the build but you will have to wait until SEMA to see how the final build out looks. So be sure to check back in with the thread as time moves closer to SEMA.

Maybe my colorblindedness has gotten the better of me but that silver (?) looks very dark...and I LOVE IT!!!

I haven't spent a ton of time with different color Hyundai Genesis but at first glance it really looks to be the Nordschleife gray they offer on the coupe or something quite similar to that currently on our Veloster. It will be getting a respray before SEMA however.


If you look on the Korean website they seem to have this color in the reel but I cannot read Korean (so I don't know the exact color name.

yeah that is the dark grey (very close to the nord grey on the gen coupe...also a good color with this car)

and if this is a usdm version...that solves the tail light issue...no redouts and no projectors! boooo....i guess we will have to get some kdm love for the headlights.

I was going to say no because it looks like color filled 18" tires...but then I noticed there doesn't seem to be a pani roof. Maybe my dreams will come true and there will be more options to choose from than model A and model B.

WOW!! I cannot wait to see this car when it is done... I so wish that I could get a pass for the SEMA show... Too bad that was not the turbo version; I would love to see what the little 1.6 can do performance wise?

What are your plans for suspension? I really want to see these cars on Coilovers!!

It does have the panoramic roof. The car we have is pre-production so I wouldn't look into it from the details aspect so much of what will be on the cars for sale.

Yes but some of the options are/can be swapped for testing and then not removed along with things of that nature.
