My XM cuts out in 2 spots (2 different roads) i frequently travel on...both roads are in valleys, but the signal only drops in specific spots within those valleys....So weird. I've learned to deal with it though.
Current Vehicle: Tony Stark aka 2012 Ironman Silver Veloster (Style Package w/ Manual Trans)

My XM cuts out when I go through the gates at work and when I pull into a gas station, but it works fine in the basement of the mall parking lot
Never argue with stupid people, they will drag you down to their level and then beat you with experience.- Mark Twain
I'm with you on the nav system. It's annoying to have one in dash that, at best, I have to look up an address on my phone to enter and at worst I don't even use. The fact that it's a pretty decent entertainment system makes up for it.
Enjoy your new ride!
P.S.: People, stop getting butthurt over the guy's decision. He didn't bash the car, he complimented it in many ways, and just explained why he made the decision. You'll all be okay and your cars are fine, I promise. Go and check on them.
