After Market Remote Starter - Manual Transmission w/ Push Button Start

Has anyone had an after market remote starter installed in a manual V with the push button start? Or even an auto With the push button?

Yes. The only problem with it is that no matter what you do, when you unlock and open the door the engines shuts off and you have to start it again. I am told it's because the car doesn't "look" for the key again once it's been started and so if the feature to shut the car off is disabled that someone could drive away without the key.

If you have blue link an push button start you will get remote start on the smart phone app later this year.

$99, $179, or $279 per year depending on package, and no, you can't use the Hyundai Remote start on a manual, and this is on the Hyundai website.

No, you'll have to go aftermarket and it will not be Bluelink integrated.

hey eppy, this is awesome info. do you know anything more about this like.... who makes the remote start for the manual and where I can get one. this is for push putton start, correct?


* the only reason I ask this is because I looked into remote starts before and I was told you can't get one for a manual trans.
