Question Newbie Question: 2 seater or 4 seater

Have the details released if the Veloster will be a 2 seater, 4 seater or maybe even a 5 seater?

Sorry if its already posted. Couldn't find it.

Its most likely going to be a 4 seater. Definitely not a 2 seater as there is 3rd door to get into the 2nd row of seats.

I'm thinking it's not a strict 4 seater but rather a 2+2 seater. I'm sure Hyundai will spin it as a 4 seater though. Ford gets away with it in their Fiesta and anybody above 5'4" will have their knees into the front seats.

i hate 2+2. either give real seats in the rear of just keep it a 2 seater.

Agreed on the no on the 2+2 option. I could see Hyundai pulling that with just a 2 door but I think the 3rd door is done purposely for the full 4 seat option...or at least thats my guess.

Maybe they will offer 4 seater in Europe and 2 seater in US just like the Honda CRZ

I think it will be a 4 seater though.

I really hope they keep it a 4 seater.

Will this be finally announced if its a 4 seater once in Paris?

Most likely it will. From what I was able to see in the interior spy shots it looks to be a full 4 seater and not just a 2+2.

I'd be all over the 2 seater option except I read on another forum that insurance rates are automatically higher for just 2. Like the CRX storage options though -- it's usually just me so I don't need the extra weight of the extra two seats. Hate getting stuff out of the back with just 2 doors so excited about the 3rd door idea.
