    Veloster aftermarket turbo kit (interest thread)

    How many of you would be interested in a plug and play aftermarket turbo kit for the na v?
    T3/t4 turbo, fmic, bov, tuning solution, and all piping included.

    how many of you would actually be interested?

    Boston red style pckge, two tone red/black interior.

    Mods-

    Lighting- KDM projector, 8000k Hid's, Led wing style reflectors, led map lights, led license plate lights,

    Exterior- 18" Enkei evo5 bronze rims, 3m CF grill, blacked out emblems, Red extended lug nuts,

    Interior/Electronics- JBL 12" with Intinity amp, V-speeds licenseplate rebadge, removed video while moving mod.

    I don't know what fmic or bov mean but would this kit also include upgrades to the transmission to handle the extra power?

    i will be the fist one in line, it's what ive been waiting for from the first day i got it. That or an engine swap to the Elantra 2.0 turbo.

    I'm waiting around a bit to see if there's a turbo kit or anything else of my interest coming out soon. After this winter I will call some shops and see what i can do, possibly to swap for a 2.0 turbo like the RedBull rally version. I'm looking to put some heavy work into the V or get a motorcycle instead...i haven't decided yet

    I might be in the works for this. I would guinea pig and find out what we can and can't handle. Were estimating 200-230whp safely stock internals and tranny.

    This would be a complete package, and would come in stages.

    Stage 1 would include everything necissary to run daily, safely, and fix all of our power issues.

    Stage 2 and stage 3 would also be offered.

    I see no reason why we wouldn't be significantly faster than a stock turbo V. Even if stage 1 is only 200whp vs 200bhp, wed still have abt ~30 more whp at the wheels ;p were obviously hoping for more power though

    Ya, put me down as interested, but only if the price is less than what it would cost to sell my V and re-buy the Turbo-V

    NOt likely. At least Hyundai doesn't think so- the Turbo V auto is not DCT because the DCT couldn't handle the 201hp the Turbo V is putting out.

    Newbie, true, but the DCT CAN take additional power, and you can obviously turn down the power to run safely =P the turbo would be pushing ~6lbs of boost, and going up from there.

    i know the dual clutch trans in the Evo X is limited by torque output. most people that want to make power get the manual because the dual clutch is maxed out with just bolt ons.
