Dyno information? Owner testimonials?

I recently picked up my 2013 VT and would like to purchase a solid cat-back. Problem is, I keep coming upon dead ends online trying to find real world testimonials of "dyno proven" performance.

Sure, its nice to see the manufacture post "10-12whp gains" a line under the "add to cart" button. But if I plan on dropping $700 - $1100 on a cat back. Id like to hear it from someone other than the guy trying to sell it



AT this point Im sure a lot of you have your intake / cat back combos installed. Have any of you dyno tested yet? Id like to mull over some numbers before making my purchase. I know different manufactures have slight variances.. so Id like to maximize my $$ to hp ratio if I can!


IF anyone can direct me to any information, or verify themselves with person experience. Id appreciate it greatly.

Well, looks like Ill have to do this myself than!

I should have my 3" cat back exhaust installed next week. My intake is coming in today..

Then Ill do some dyno pulls at my local shop to give you guys some numbers!

Im hoping to pull 190+/- a few WHP. This is with the 6speed M/T. We shall see!

Ive been in contact with Solo-Performance. They are shipping me out a Veloster Turbo 3" Cat back. I should have it by next week if it ships tonight.
A co-worker of mine has a friend who owns a shop / dyno. 75 bucks for 3 pulls. Its in the East Hartford area. Not sure the exact name. Ill follow up with you guys tho.

Make sure you do a baseline tune without exhaust and then one with exhaust.
